The FA Has Approved Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s 25% Takeover Of Manchester United
Manchester United’s new era is about the begin, as Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s 25% takeover of Manchester United has now been approved by the FA. The club were awaiting the final approval of the Football Association after getting the green light from the Premier League last week. The deal will not be announced immediately by the club, but finalisation is close and could be done by the end of this week, as they have now achieved all the ratification they need from the various parties involved in English Football.
The Ratcliffe Era:
Manchester United have already begun to shape the club differently, but that can now be done officially by INEOS. Sir Dave Brailsford, Jean-Claude Blanc and Ratcliffe have started work behind the scenes before the approval from the FA, but they can now work freely with no restrictions.
INEOS played a part in the appointment of Omar Berrada from Manchester City, and they are already working on their next target as we revealed last night. Dan Ashworth is the number one target for the club for the role of sporting director, and we understand the Newcastle United man has already asked the club for permission to speak to Manchester United.
United will then focus on a head of recruitment, as Ratcliffe looks to completely revamp the face of the club to try and return the sleeping giant to the pedestal of English football where it belongs.
The stake has been approved by the FA, and now the real work and change begins for Manchester United. The Dawn of the Ratcliffe Era.
