SOURCES: Ederson Deal With Al Nassr Set To Collapse

Ederson’s rumoured move to Al Nassr is on the verge of collapsing due to Manchester City’s demands being too high for Al Nassr to match. The Saudi club has confirmed a concrete interest in the Brazilian goalkeeper, who has even offered to lower his salary demands to get the deal through. City, however, is demanding a fee the buying club currently cannot afford, putting the deal in serious jeopardy.

Al Nassr and Al Hilal will not be supported financially this summer like they were in previous seasons, except for two players under the age of 21. Any deals will come from the club’s budget and support from honorary board members. Ederson would likely have been an easy deal to do last summer, but this year is a completely different prospect for the club that Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays for.

Ederson Moves In Trouble

The Brazilian is the first choice goalkeeper for Al Nassr within this window, and although their is a willingness on the player side as well as the club side, the overall financial package is currently not something Al Nassr can afford.

Currently, the state of play is that if Manchester City do not lower their demands, Al Nassr will be forced to walk away and look elsewhere for their new goalkeeper. Things could still change, as nothing is ever set in stone when it comes to the transfer market, but they will only change if Manchester City bring the fee down.

The situation is active, and we will bring you more as soon as we have it.
