Newcastle and Southampton Reach Full Agreement for Tino Livramento

Attacking Football understands that Valentino Livramento’s move to Newcastle has now been fully agreed.

While Southampton and Newcastle were getting closer in their respective valuations, payment structure remained the issue however that was verbally agreed upon yesterday, as was the final fee.

Formalities are still to be completed but I’m told the deal can be considered pretty much there.

The 20-year-old right-back is not expected to travel with the Southampton squad to Sheffield because of how close this deal is.

Valentino is a versatile full-back who has been capped for England at youth level multiple times. His dynamism and lightning pace will surely help Eddie Howe’s men impose themselves on the opposition, as Eddie’s plan from day one has been.

This is a real coup for Newcastle and a massive loss for Southampton, but the hefty transfer fee they will receive may be of some compensation to them.
