Gabriel Magalhaes absent from Arsenal training
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães did not take part in Arsenal’s training session today ahead of their clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.
Following their 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday, the Gunners’ full squad, including long-term absentee Jurrien Timber, completed training except the Brazilian centre-back. The nature of Gabriel’s absence is unknown, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta not commenting directly on his defender’s issue in his press conference today.

Arsenal fans will be sweating on Gabriel’s availability with the games coming thick and fast at this stage of the season. The Gunners are looking to hold on to their place at the top of the Premier League table this weekend before heading to Munich for the return leg of their Champions League on Wednesday.
