Brighton Are Close To Striking a Deal for Mohammed Kudus
Mohammed Kudus is close to joining Brighton, according to sources close to Attacking Football. However, the fee for the player remains unknown.
The Ghanaian would sign for the Seagulls as a replacement for Alexis Mac Allister. The World Cup winner left the club to join Liverpool for a reported £35m fee.
Kudus currently plays his football for Ajax and was close to joining Everton last summer. However, that deal fell through in the later stages. This past season, the Ghanaian scored eleven goals and assisted his team three times in 30 games. The 22-year-old is a versatile midfielder who has the ability to play as an eight, ten, or anywhere across the front three.
Brighton is also in talks to sign Fiorentina defender Igor. No fee has been mentioned, but yet again, talks are advanced. However, one source has told Attacking Football this deal could be used as a smokescreen to distract the media. This is because Brighton would prefer to strike a deal with Chelsea over Euro U-21 winner Levi Colwill.
No fee has been mentioned for Kudus and Igor but deals for the two to join De Zerbi’s Brighton are clsoe.
